Splash Park

This week had record highs in temperature in Utah, so we found a way to beat the heat.
The splash park in Springville is pretty awesome, one of the things we will miss when we move
seconds after Kyle put his wet hands down they were already eveaporating

Kyle eating a banana, sorry no pictures of Adam, he was running around like a crazy man the whole time!

Trian day

daddy and Adam woke up early this morning to go find some trains. Along the way they got some doughnuts and hot coco. We have always heard trains going by and Adam just loves to hear them and see them.
they found this one and while they were there, someone came and turned on the engine
Adam decided to make his own train in the dirt while they waited for something to happen
 Rocks made the perfect cars
I love how they went from big to small
Later, we went to Pleasant Grove to get some strawberries and cream from strawberry days
 mmmm, strawberries
 Kyle liked them too
Adam noticed that there was a train there, and even though tickets were pricey for such a small ride we caved and decided it would be a good end to his train day.
he was in the front of the second car and enjoyed the ride, as soon as the ride ended he ran to the first car and wanted to get in so much that he threw a fit.  So we left.

houses

Really I am somewhat surprised that I got any pictures taken these last couple of weeks.  things have been crazy as we have been looking for and putting down offers on homes.  We have been accepted for a beautiful home in north Orem right by an elementary school.  If all goes as planned, we will be moving in in three weeks!  We are super excited for the adventures of being home owners, but at the same time, it's a little bit stressful! We are attempting to enjoy the process and just keep looking toward the end goal of owning our home.  We will even have chickens! In the meanwhile, Kyle and Adam have both gotten a stomach bug, so we have been spending a lot of time at home.
Kyle thought is was the greatest that he was able to climb up here all alone... mom was not so thrilled!
What a crazy monkey
Kyle has one big tooth and he is working on a second, you can see the first really well here
Father's Day ties... Kyle did not want to sit still, Adam was so handsome
I guess Nursery was particularly fun cause Adam crashed on the kitchen floor as soon as we got home.

Art City

 Another Crazy sleeping position
Nathaniel and I went back to where he proposed
Art City Days parade, for those who don't know, Art City is Springville's other name, take a walk down main street or visit the museum and you will see why. We love it here, and this year we had fun at the parade.
Kyle had fun eating a plum
Adam and his new toy, he used it so much that it had a hole in it by the time we got home.

 Kyle really enjoyed the shade
As usual, if there is water anywhere close to our location, Adam will find it.
In the Afternoon we joined Great Grandma and Grandpa Bassett for a picnic up hobble creek canyon. It was beautiful up there.
Adam was very helpful, here he is helping grandpa get rid of the remains of the fire.
Kyle was so sleepy but a trooper.
On another note, Nathaniel and I have started casually looking at homes to buy, a place of our own. We really would like to stay here in Springville. We shall see!

June

Daddy had some work to do on Saturday, so while he was in the office, we played around the riverwoods, and around the office too.
As Always, the boys loved anything to do with water, even though Kyle got cold pretty quickly.
Trying to figure out nap times with these two boys in the same room has been pretty tricky, usually I just let Adam do something quietly downstairs while Kyle is sleeping upstairs. On this particular day he was just reading quietly on the couch...and this is how I found him a little while later. Crazy kid.
