Painting Pumpkins

Instead of carving pumpkins, this year we painted! the boys had a lot of fun and we had so many pumpkins to paint we didn't get to them all. some of our favorites are the Dalek, spider, wolf, and weeping angel. The boys love the beach ball. Face paint makes great pumpkin paint.

Colin had fun trying to grab pumpkins that  were close by

dads wolf... he knows I am afraid of wolves and thinks it is funny. Wolves are his favorite animal
 pumpkin pumkin
 Kyles pumpkin was mostly brown.
Adam used all the colors

Uncle Jared!

Uncle Jared came home from his mission for medical reasons and will be going back out but in the mean time Mom and Aunt Milla took the boys to California to see him! We were sad that Dad couldn't get off work but we had a great time there.  Jared met Colin for the first time, we went to Emma's cross country race and we played a lot of games.  Though it was a quick trip, it was great to see Jared again.
Adam went with Jared every where. they even played mine craft together

The Boys had fun with the photo booth app on my iPad

And while we were gone, dad went shooting

Alpine loop

We were actually really busy this Saturday, but the timing was just perfect and we needed a break. So we took a drive. It's important to remember how blessed we are to live so close to such beauty. And to experience it first hand. The boys enjoyed the ride (and the doughnuts) and mom was in Autumn heaven.

 Dad was the navigator extraordinaire
Colin was asleep in his car seat most of the time.
