This and that in September

I feel like a little bit of a slacker this month, there has be a lot going on but much of it has just been finding our new norm with Dad's new job and Adam at school. Mom has even been going to the Doctor every week to get a shot in her hip, to make sure baby Bennett doesn't come too early. While all this has been very exciting and at times stressful, not too much has been photographed this month. So this is just a sampling of our month and it all goes into one post because there is not really too much to be said about any one event in particular.
Colin is cute and has really started walking, it only took him 18 months but he is going everywhere now.
For a while he liked to walk completely on his knees... silly boy, here he is trying to catch up to big brothers in the Secret Garden at Thanksgiving point.

Painting Dad's new office door, the boys helped
Colin tried eating the paint, it wasn't that tasty
Adam found a dollar attached to balloons that floated to our yard from Sandy. The note says pay it forward
Kyle wants to be just like Adam, he packed his backpack with  crayons and a book and put his shoes on so he could walk Adam to school. After watching Adam walk in I said "there goes our school boy" and Kyle said, "yeah, and I'm your home boy" yes, yes you are sweet home boy. :)
Bridesmaid dress shopping, I think we have a winner! Soon to be Aunt Donna moved in with us this month and that has been on of the easiest things to adjust to. She already feels like part of the family and the boys absolutely adore her.
 Pretty rainy day
The boys and glow-stick light sabers

Adam has been practicing his writing skills and he is getting better and better. He is picking up on learning and loves school and his teacher and his friends. It has been a good month.

Dad's new Job

Dad got a new job! we have been with Qualtrics for just over six years and they have really been good to us.  not too long ago a company called Influx DB contacted him with a job offer that was just too good to pass up. He will be a full-time programmer and will get to work on a project that has pretty much been his hobby for the past couple of years Dad now works from home and has his own office and everything. We are super excited for this new change, especially Dad who has been waking up early for the past month just from mere excitement.
It has been fun getting his office ready
the boys loved painting and were good helpers
