Bennett Gene Cook's Blessing

Bennett, your blessing day was beautiful. Grandpa Cook flew in from India the night before, Grandpa Gleason helped bless you even though he had surgery to replace his shoulder just a few days before and a lot of your Aunts and Uncles came as well. It was Easter Sunday and it was just a beautiful day

Easter

This year Kyle found the Golden Easter Egg and Adam explained why it was so important. The boys had fun with the Egg hunt with the Neighborhood and at home. It was special to have family there too.

goofballs

there are times when I am just blown away by my kids personalities. They are funny, smart, creative, active, strange and some times down right silly
St Patrick's Dayt hey had green eggs and cheese
Every Friday is Nutella sandwich day

and it usually ends up all over there faces
Kyle trying to be silly with his "bikey" hair.
Bennett can have the saddest face on earth, this was because the bink hit him in the head.

Play set

The boys got a playset for Christmas but our yard has been hiding under over a foot of snow for the last couple months. it took a couple of weeks but as soon as the yard was clear we put it all together.
It started as a couple of boxes.

Week 1, Bennett joined us by sleeping in a laundry basket

 Raising the roof!
Week 2 Bennet was in his play pen.
Now that it is completed, we have a steady steam of kids (ours and other friends) playing in our back yard. It was a lot of fun to put together and the finished product is worth the wait

Provo City Center Temple

When I was in high school, once a year we would combine with another school and sing a requiem in the Provo tabernacle. When we got married, our first stake conference was held in the same tabernacle. Then a little over a year later it burned down. It was a very sad day. Then the Prophet announced that they would be turning the outer walls into a temple! We took our boys through the open house and they loved it. What a beautiful way to preserve the memories of that place.
