Creativity at 'his' best

The boys have been busy working together to be creative. A coloring station and a palanquin for Colin.

Circus time!

Daddy was out of town this week but Grama Cook invited us to go to the circus with her. We couldn't miss out on a great opportunity like this! The boys liked the motorcycles in the sphere and I think my favorite part was the tigers. Bennet got a bonk on his head and enjoyed the extra cuddles from Mom.  Between all the acts, the cotton candy, the pixy stix, and the company. I think we had a great time!

First real one of the season, we even made snow ice cream!

Back to life

The holidays are over and we are back to normal, wonderful, everyday life. It is grand. this place we live is beautiful. Dad made the boys raspberry pi computers for Christmas and they have started learning a new game, tetris! 

Terrific 2-year-old

Congrats Bennett! This birthday marks your first birthday out of the hospital. No emergency visits for you! We had a great day. You love your new "crocky" and now you don't have to steal your brothers lion to snuggle. After going swimming (you are seriously fearless in the water) we went to pizza pie cafe for dinner.  Today there was rain... very weird for January and family came over to celebrate. you were so excited with the tissue paper that you almost didn't make it through your gifts! after yummy cake and ice cream, chocolate of course, you had a bubble bath with your brothers (first one was last week) and then Mom read "I'll love you forever" you stayed interested the entire time. Bennett, you are a joy. You love singing and squeaking and you have such a sweet little voice especially when you are not living up to the nickname "little screech". you love your older brothers and want to be doing whatever they are doing.  Kaho (kyle) is one of your favorite words and you use it for all of your brothers right now. You have a huge sweet tooth, so we get along great ;) You love music and you lead and sing along with the music at Church. One time you even joined mom with the Choir and you stole the spotlight singing at the top of your lungs. I hope you never lose that love. your smile and giggles are contagious. I hope you know how much we all love you! Happy Birthday! 

Here's to 2018

School is starting soon and I'm not the only one who is excited for that. The boys have been pretty good since Christmas and the fun of new toys and projects has not worn off quite yet. I went to Getout games with my Gleason sisters and my mom and we had a blast. In the meantime the rest of the Cook clan played robo rally and worked on puzzles. 2017 was actually a great year for our family so here's to a 2018 that is just as good, if not better!
