Santa at the Gleasons

Grandma and Grandpa with all their grandkids and great grandkids. And me... but I'm hiding so Bennett and Colin don't freak out. It is always great to be with the Gleasons. My boys love their cousins.

Festivities

Cousin Sarah Cook had her first birthday, Adam sang in his second grade Christmas concert, and we made sugar cookies for our Sunday school class when they came over for a game night. Fun times were had by all.

The tree

A lesson learned from the festival of trees; if you have lights and a good ribbon, the tree will look great. Taking a picture with everyone looking or even there, is not our strong point. Even though we are having Christmas at the Cooks this year, finding and decorating our own tree has become a favorite tradition. I love the smell of a real tree in the home!

messy is an understatement

A whole bag of cheese, a whole bag of cereal, three little boys who went to church with cheese in their hair and caked on their clothes. The next day the littlest flooded the upstairs bathroom and the oldest two snuck into the place where Christmas gifts are hidden. It has been a difficult weekend. At least we go a little bit of snow... it is a good thing we have a good sense of humor, though we won't say that no tears were shed.

Luminaria!

We went last year and it was so great we decided to make it a tradition!

Moving in

Granma and Papa finally got to move into their new house! Woodland Hills is not too far away. Their house is beautiful and we can't wait to make a lot of memories here.

Festival of trees

We have been enjoying having Granma and Papa Cook living close. Thanks for letting us tag along!
This tree was made by the young women in our ward in memory of our friend and neighbor Tony Means.

Growing pains and gains

Adam lost his tooth! It was late at night and the tooth fairy only had German money, he was able to switch it out American money. He pulled it out by himself too :) Bennett learned that the bright red color on the stove is hot... and not fun to touch. The colors are changing on the mountains, and they got some more snow, though we still haven't seen any down at our house

Delayed

I guess these could have gone in October... oh well!
