Adam is 6

Adam! what a great kid you are! We are so happy that it is your birthday. you got your own cape this morning and you and your brother have been wearing them all day long. Today you and your brother had your birthday party with a lot of your friends from the neighborhood. We also had a bounce house and a pinata and your favorite, pizza.  You got a bank for a birthday gift because you have started earning money by taking care of your brothers. They sure love you. You are great at making Bennett happy and Colin and Kyle could follow you around all day long. Colin wants to be just like you and he has even started saying your name (dam-dam) which is a big deal for him. I love how sensitive and thoughtful you are. If you do something wrong you hate making mom or dad upset with you and you can usually be comforted with a hug and a kiss, no matter what is wrong. You are reading and writing a lot now and you even write little notes to your family when you especially want to show love.  You are taking on more and more responsibility and you have discovered that you do not like cleaning, so you are pretty good at keeping your room clean for a while.  You are so thoughtful and enjoy comforting your little brothers and other little babies when they are sad.
