Kyle the 4 year old

We love you Kyle! you had a fun day today. You got a cape on your door in the morning and wore it all day long. We went out to lunch and you got a root beer float. You are our little super hero who is so good at making people laugh. Your sense of humor is great but it can some times get you into trouble, like when you announced to your sunbeam teacher and class that "bum isn't a bad word but you shouldn't say penis"... or when mommy was praying for patience and in the middle of the prayer you announced "the Holy Ghost is dead". You love learning new things and have recently started using numbers and can count to 7 without help or prompting. I can tell 4 is going to be an interesting year for you. A couple days ago you wanted a cheese stick because, as you claimed, you were starving. I wanted you to say please but for some reason you refused. I spent over a half hour trying to get you to  say please amid howling and screaming about how you were so hungry but you still refused to say please. Your stubbornness is impressive. You have also recently started acting like the world is ending (or you are on fire) when your brother is mean or touches you. but when you are really hurt you don't make to much of a fuss. You were at a friends house today when you got your first wasp sting and after the initial shock, you were just fine. Another root-beer float didn't hurt either. Though there are a couple things that we hope are just a phase, we wouldn't change a thing. We love getting to know your big personality (don't worry even though you are 4 you are still a little boy) and we can't wait to see what this next year brings. According to you, when you turn 5 you will drive your own car, way to dream big ;)
